Room 8

Hello everyone,
After all the stresses of putting our home on the market, the constant cleaning and strangers wandering around our living room, I decided we needed a break!

Now we're huge fans of Mr & Mrs Smith agents, their hotels & deals never disappoint!
We found a great deal for a weekend away at The Pig In The Wall in Southampton, complete with half a spa day at Lime Wood and lunch at Angela Hartnets!
Whoop! Get in!

This little piggy in my opinion is one of the most gorgeous boutique hotels I've stayed in, in the UK.

The interior is well thought out and finished to the highest standard, you can tell somebody really put a lot of thought into every aspect of the hotel.

The bedrooms are spotlessly clean and sumptuous with beautiful furniture, a nespresso machine and bathrooms with tiles and taps to die for! Plus a rain forest for a shower, Mr C was very pleased!

The bar/living room is rustic in a good way and serves up a buffet breakfast using fresh local ingredients.
In the evenings enjoy flatbread pizzas or sharing boards, or just sit down with some cider and pork crackling... Happy days!

The staff were friendly and efficient, and we felt well and truly spoilt.
I loved the little touches like walking into our room and having the radio put very quietly onto classical, and the fact that they held our table for us whilst we went out to watch the fireworks, even though they were really busy!

The hotel is a great base for exploring the New Forest and the private car park is a bonus!

It gets a 10 out of 10 and I can't wait to go back.

Well done little pig!
